    Well....LOWES just lost any future business with this household. Just sent this letter to Corporate. To summarize. Old Fridge died. Bought a new one. Well...new one don't work. Been trying to arrange for an exchange. Course the folks at the Shako store are all kind and courteous and say no problem! Well after 4 days of the run around and false promises....We had enough. To whom it may concern, On December 19th ago I purchased a 14.3 cubic foot Whirlpool Refridgerator at your store I requested delivery and exchange of my old fridge. I was told that the delivery would not occur till the 28th. I was okay with that. Knowing it was the Holiday season. Anyways. I got the fridge on schedule. Given instructions to wait 24 hours for the initial cool down. The following day, we turned the fridge to a cooler setting. To which point it never got lower then 55 degrees. And over the next day. It lost all cooling capability. After a couple days, We called the store and informed them of the problem. I was pretty much upset with just Whirlpool at this time. Putting the blame on the brand. Now, however....We've been talking to the Store. Trying to arrange for an exchange unit. To which we were assured will happen, but are now getting that run around feeling! We were supposed to finally get an exchange unit this afternoon after 3pm according to the delivery person. However, while we were both at work. Instead he called at 9AM for immediate delivery. Of course neither one of us could leave our jobs at that time. We are going over 2 weeks now since the time of purchase. And still have no functioning refrigerator. We are quite upset over this run around feeling. We have liked your stores in the past. But this current situation has us feeling quite aggravated and unlikely to return any time soon. The people we have dealt with are polite and friendly. And don't necessarily want to blame them. Your system is what's got us frustrated. We just want customer satisfaction!

    The Lowe's in Shakopee has unbelievably bad customer service. When you call the store their phone just rings and rings. Then someone answers and transfers you to the department you want but no one picks up there. So call back and it all happens again. Finally call and ask for a manager, wait on hold for 10 minutes, manager answers, says he's busy but will call me back in 5 minutes. Call never comes. Would not buy anything from a store that can't handle the most simple kindergarden task like connecting to someone who can answer a question.

    A guy has to know his hardware stores. One might have better lumber or tool than another and the other may have better outdoor/garden stuff. Lowe's strong suit is their appliances. If I need an appliance; I go to Lowe's.
